I wonder if these will be the same height as the 80s super7. 7 inch scale but the 80s measured just under 6 inch??? Anyone know the exact height?

I was thinking they were going to charge a minimum of $70 - $80 because they’ll milk the SDCC exclusiveness with lenticular packaging. I hope I’m wrong though. I’d LOVE for this to be $40, but I highly doubt it’ll be that low.

What is up with the obvious lack of accessories??? Super 7 is falling off from what was offered in their previous TMNT waves. That first TMNT wave they did set the bar... Hard to get excited by anything Super 7 puts out now

I'm sure gng remembers how when the mystery channel who didnt mention Flip-or had an interview w Brian Flynn, Hatter here said there was some bs going down bc Brian excludes most articulation bc of 'esthetic' and was gunna do double joints on the 03 figures and Hatter presumed that the esthetic would be removed... well it wasnt but I think I can call the bs he was suspecting: THERES BARELY ANY ACCESSORIES WITH THESE GUYS THEY JS HAVE 2 HEADS 3 PAIRS OF HANDS THEIR WEAPONS AND THEY EACH GET A SHELL CELL (yes thas wut they were called in 03 lmao) AND DON GETS GOGGLES. I'd really like to know more about the other Triceriton and mirage og color shredder on the back of the box.

I'm torn on these ones. 2003 was my favorite version of the turtles. I just watched the entire series last month, so they look a bit off to me. Some folks have mentioned the fact that they were slimmer and have longer legs, and that definitely is true. Also the shoulders look a bit pointy, though I have seen a few stills with the pointy shoulders, but they don't look great. Also I'm not thrilled that they cut down on the accessories to make up for the added articulation. I get that added articulation means increased cost, and I end up throwing most of them into my accessory bins anyway, but these figures were drastically overpriced to begin with, when you compare them to other lines like NECA that offer fully painted figures, with a comparable amount of accessories, for less. After the massive clearance sales last year, the last thing Super7 needs to be doing is giving people the impression that they're providing less value.

Nah. I only need one set. The original intention started with one vs one turtle. Then a team was come up with. Glad this is coming out though. It will complete my Turtle evolution shelf I have in mind.

I was a fan from the beginning but thankfully I have no interest in these. The ones that made the comics are where my nostalgia button hits. Prototypes and early sketches are more like rough drafts. There's a reason why they changed. If I ever change *my* mind, Neca's constant TMNT reissues mean these WILL be available again in some way down the road.

Watching this knowing that Brian dude got moved gives the “rant” a whole new meaning. Yes licenses are expensive (but they got so many) but the pricing model is “one fits all” by the looks of it. I’d reduce the number of licenses, focus on a core set, maximise production on those which should help improve price and quality.

The extra heads should be on Ralph should be a happy face or smile. On Mikey should be a serious headsculpt and Donatello more angrier with teeth/open mouth..i'm definitive gonna preorder the 4.

This wave with W6 LJN are worthless and the WORST ONE IMO!! 3 figs that 98% of collectors didnt ask for....Snarfer should had been a SDCC EXCLUSIVE!! Even Young Lion-o face sculpt looks wrong like he is Upset and angry just like the opposite of how he did look in the first episode

So interesting to see the comments! Either you love these or you don't! Im gonna assume the younger generation of fans is less likely to want these. For me, these are historic and precious. The first-ever designs. To show my age, the 2003 Super7's are the one's I'm passing on (though I'm happy for all who were clamoring for them!)
